A day of debuts in Skier X

 Women's Skier X winner Aleisha Cline after her race.
It was a day of debuts on the Skier X course on Friday, as medals were handed out in both the men's and women's competitions. In the men's race, an unknown Frenchman blew away the field of experienced freeskiers. Enak Gavaggio, a former French National Team member, took the lead from the top of the course all the way down to the finish. In the first-ever X Games women's Skier X race, 1992 Olympic speed skier Aleisha Cline won the semifinal and then took the lead for good early in the final.
