FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Colorado State has hired Ryun Williams as the new coach of the women's basketball team.
Williams most recently coached at South Dakota, where he spent four seasons. He coached the Coyotes to a 23-8 record and a WNIT berth last season.
Former Colorado State women's basketball coach Kristen Holt resigned earlier this spring after four seasons in charge. Assistant coach Dick Lien was filling in on an interim basis while the school looked for Holt's replacement.
