Seniors Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith return to defend Duke's national championship while freshman Harrison Barnes looks to lead North Carolina back to prominence. Butler's Shelvin Mack is out to prove last season's unexpected run to the championship game was no fluke. But he'll have to do it without Gordon Hayward.
