West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is to be interviewed by police after being arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

Daniel Sturridge: Latest injury setback 'just another hurdle to jump over'

Brendan Rodgers is refusing to use Daniel Sturridge's absence as an excuse for Liverpool's poor form, after the striker suffered yet another injury setback.

Daniel Sturridge insists he will soon return for Liverpool after his latest injury setback, describing the thigh strain which will likely rule him out until the New Year as "just another hurdle to jump over."

Sturridge, 25, has already been sidelined twice this season by thigh and calf problems, and is set to miss the Reds' busy festive schedule after picking up the thigh problem in training last Tuesday.

Brendan Rodgers' side have badly missed the goals that Luis Suarez -- who moved to Barcelona...
