Guangzhou coach Fabio Cannavaro faces first big test in ACL round of 16

Fabio Cannavaro faces his first big test as coach of Guangzhou Evergrande in Wednesday's ACL second leg tie against Seongnam FC.

Fabio Cannavaro was the coolest of defenders and still looks like he could pull on the famous blue shirt of Italy and do a job on the field. The suited 41-year-old looks pretty dapper on the sidelines too though could have been forgiven for losing it big time last Wednesday as Guangzhou Evergrande lost to a last-minute penalty of dubious origins at the home of South Korean side Seongnam FC.

Netherlands scored twice in a four-minute span and shut out Spain 2-0 on Tuesday in a friendly in Amsterdam.

Stefan de Vrij's header opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and Davy Klaassen doubled the advantage in the 16th.

Klaassen found himself free to shoot in the middle of the 18-yard box, and though his initial shot was saved by David De Gea, he fired the rebound into the back of the net.

A wave of second-half Spain reinforcements included David Silva, Alvaro Morata and Andres Iniesta, but...
