Samuel Eto'o explained how manager Roberto Martinez persuaded him to join Everton, as the Cameroonian striker signs on a two-year deal.

Samuel Eto'o announced on Twitter that he is ending his international career for his native Cameroon. 

The veteran played just once in this summer's World Cup, a 1-0 Group A defeat to Mexico, and has now decided to call time on his Cameroon career.

Albert Ebosse, shown converting a penalty in his side's 2-1 loss in the Algerian League, was killed after being struck in the head with an object thrown from the stands as his team left the pitch.
