Austria squad includes David Alaba and Christoph Leitgeb for qualifiers

Bayern Munich's David Alaba returns to Austria for their Septemeber qualifiers.

VIENNA -- Austria midfielders David Alaba and Christoph Leitgeb will return from injuries for next month's Euro 2016 qualifiers against Moldova and Sweden.

Both players missed the Group G leader's 1-0 win at Russia in June but were included in the 23-man squad announced by coach Marcel Koller on Tuesday.

Koller also selected defender Martin Hinteregger and striker Marc Janko, who are struggling with muscular problems but expected to recover in time.

Marc Janko will return to Europe after spending one season in Australia.

Swiss champions Basel say Austrian forward Marc Janko has joined on a free transfer from Sydney FC.

The move brings Janko closer to home ahead of the 2016 European Championship being played in France.

Janko has scored three goals to help unbeaten Austria lead a qualifying group that includes Sweden and Russia.
