Andre Villas-Boas had already said that Andrey Arshavin was likely to Zenit St Petersburg.

Zenit St Petersburg forward Andrey Arshavin has refused to comment on his future amid reports his playing career could be about to come to an end.

MOSCOW -- Torpedo Moscow are on the brink of collapse after withdrawing from the Russian league because of financial problems.

Torpedo, a three-time champion in the Soviet era and winner of the Russian Cup, were relegated from the Russian Premier League last season and have not applied for a place in the second tier.

Dynamo Moscow banned from European competition for FFP breach

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti reacts to Dinamo Moscow's suspension from Europa League play by UEFA over financial fair play.

UEFA has excluded Dynamo Moscow from European competition for a season for breaking financial fair play rules.
