Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk: I blew kisses in response to racist abuse

A late goal from Artyom Dzyuba rescued a 2-2 draw for Zenit St. Petersburg against Spartak Moscow after goalkeeping errors looked set to condemn Zenit to defeat in the Russian Premier League

Zenit St Petersburg star Hulk said he blew kisses at supporters during Saturday's game at Spartak Moscow due to racist abuse from the stands.

Hulk, 29, complained earlier this summer that he experienced racism in "almost every game" in Russia and he said his gesture in the final moments of Saturday's 2-2 draw at Spartak was his way of dealing with the abuse.

Hulk gestures towards the Spartak Moscow fans at the end of Zenit's 2-2 draw.

"Unfortunately, there is still the same situation with racism from the stands," the Brazil international said on the club's official website.

Dinamo Moscow hit with transfer embargo over unpaid fees

Dinamo Moscow are still in debt from Christopher Samba's signing.

The Russian Football Union has hit Dinamo Moscow with a transfer embargo over unpaid fees.

The RFU ruled on Thursday that Dinamo will not be allowed to register any new players until they clear debts related to four signings, including former Queens Park Rangers defender Christopher Samba and Russia midfielder Igor Denisov.

Dinamo have struggled off the pitch this year, with UEFA barring the club from the Europa League this season for overspending and breaking financial fair-play rules.
