Giorgio Chiellini superb as the back as Juventus win the Coppa Italia vs. Milan

Though it was a disappointing performance from a record-breaking team, Juventus secured a 1-0 win over Milan to lift the Coppa Italia trophy simply because they had the individuals that could make the difference.

Juve became the first side in the history of Italian football to land back-to-back Serie A and Coppa Italia doubles, with Morata settling a drab affair in extra time.

Substitute Alvaro Morata fired Juventus to an historic second consecutive domestic double with an extra-time strike to see off AC Milan 1-0 in the Coppa Italia final.

Morata blasted home Juan Cuadrado's cross with his first meaningful touch after joining the Stadio Olimpico fray in the second period of extra time.

Listless attack from both sides led to an uninspiring stalemate after 90 minutes - and just when both teams were gearing up for penalties, Spain hitman Morata settled the argument.
