Jurgen Klopp says tearful goodbye to Borussia Dortmund home supporters

Jurgen Klopp bid his final farewell to the Borussia Dortmund faithfuls following his final match in charge at Westfalenstadion.

Jurgen Klopp said an emotional farewell to the Westfalenstadion following his final home game in charge of Borussia Dortmund.

Klopp's side needed to avoid defeat against Werder Bremen on Saturday in the last game of the 2014-15 Bundesliga campaign to qualify for the Europa League, and BVB survived a late fightback to earn a 3-2 victory.

Dortmund were contemplating relegation as they sat bottom of the table in January, but a return to form has seen Klopp steer BVB to seventh place and hand incoming...

Hoffenheim ended the season with the win their coach Markus Gisdol wanted with Anthony Modeste and Roberto Firmino on target in a 2-1 victory over Hertha Berlin.

Modeste put Hoffenheim in front after eight minutes, but Roy Beerens equalised for the Old Lady, who needed a point to be certain of their place in the Bundesliga next season.

Firmino's goal was enough to take Hoffenheim up to eighth while results at the bottom ensured Hertha stayed up anyway, despite defeat in Sinsheim.

Firmino returned for...

Wolfsburg finished as runners-up to Bayern Munich as they wrapped up their Bundesliga campaign with a 2-2 draw at Cologne.

Yuya Osako gave the hosts an early lead which was cancelled out by Luiz Gustavo, before Ivan Perisic gave Wolfsburg the lead.

An own goal from Robin Knoche hauled Cologne level in the second half and neither side was unhappy with the point.

With third-placed Borussia Monchengladbach beaten by Augsburg, Wolfsburg would have finished second even had they lost, while Cologne finished...
