PSG's David Luiz spent a few minutes with Alison Bender to talk PSG's upcoming season.

New Paris Saint-Germain signing Thomas Meunier was pleased to get on the scoresheet in their win over Real Madrid but hopes that Thiago Silva will swiftly recover from injury.

Thiago Silva, 31, was forced to leave the field after 11 minutes of the International Champions Cup fixture against the European champions and he was replaced by Meunier, 24, who scored twice in the 3-1 win in Columbus.

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is on the radar of a number of top European clubs, and may be open to a move to the EPL.

Unai Emery's five-point plan for PSG needs another striker, winger

PSG's David Luiz spent a few minutes with Alison Bender to talk PSG's upcoming season.

Paris Saint-Germain are entering an exciting new period with Unai Emery now in charge after three seasons under Laurent Blanc.

Le President was immensely successful domestically, winning 11 titles in his three-year spell at Parc des Princes, but failed to take the French champions far enough in the UEFA Champions League.

Blanc's successor, Emery, has been tasked with leading PSG past the quarterfinals and into the semis or better. However, the Spaniard's current record at Europe's top table...

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp says he welcomes the competition for the No. 1 spot at the club, telling ESPN FC: "In teams like this, it is necessary to have that."

Trapp, 26, established himself as Laurent Blanc's first-choice keeper ahead of Salvatore Sirigu following his move from Eintracht Frankfurt last year.

This season, new coach Unai Emery also has 23-year-old Alphonse Areola as an option after he returned from a season-long loan spell at Villarreal.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- New Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery said he wants to take the French side to new heights after their 3-1 International Champions Cup win over Real Madrid.

Emery admits the victory over Madrid, which came courtesy of Nanitamo Ikone's early opener and Thomas Meunier's first-half brace, may have been a reflection on the two clubs' respective fitness levels but took encouragement as he seeks to improve PSG's standing in Europe.
