Sam Allardyce keen to prove himself and spoil Newcastle survival bid

Sam Allardyce's men will be up for the game against Newcastle.

With the final Premier League relegation spot the only real issue to be decided on the last day of the season, more eyes are likely to be on West Ham's game at St. James' Park on Sunday than anywhere else.

Newcastle need a win to guarantee their place at the top table next season and they probably couldn't ask for better visitors than the Hammers. Sam Allardyce's men have been in a downward spiral since Christmas and the last game of the 2014-15 season is really a meeting between two of the league's...

Sam Allardyce to hear if he will keep West Ham job next week

Sam Allardyce's West Ham would pull off a clean sweep of the reigning Premier League champions should they win Saturday at Manchester City.
Sam Allardyce's current West Ham contract is due to expire this summer.

Sam Allardyce will discover on Monday if he is to continue as West Ham manager, but will not be attending the scheduled meeting with owners David Sullivan and David Gold.

The 60-year-old will travel to Spain for a family holiday after...

The ESPN FC panel dicuss the English Premier League relegation battle, where Shaka Hislop believes Newcastle United don't look like beating any team right now.

John Carver is expecting no favours from Sam Allardyce as he attempts to keep Newcastle in the Premier League.

The latest man to be handed the managerial reins by owner Mike Ashley at St James' Park will go head-to-head with the one he sacked in January 2008 with the Magpies in desperate need of a first victory in 11 attempts if they are to condemn Hull to the drop and survive.

Allardyce, who was appointed by former chairman Freddy Shepherd just days before Ashley launched his successful take-over...

Sam Allardyce has done well as West Ham manager, says Gianfranco Zola

Sam Allardyce could coach his final game as West Ham manager on Sunday.

Gianfranco Zola has sympathy for Sam Allardyce if he is replaced as West Ham manager.

But the Italian, one of Allardyce's predecessors, wants whomever is in charge of the Hammers next season to take the club to "another level."

Allardyce is out of contract and Sunday's Premier League match at Newcastle could be his last as West Ham boss.

Zola, speaking on behalf of Premier League sponsors Barclays, told Press Association Sport: "I know where this is coming from. I know the supporters want to see...
