Salomon Rondon needs support

West Brom

West Brom avoid relegation anxiety under Tony Pulis

Tony Pulis is still looking for his first top 10 finish as a manager.

With the season over, it's time to assess West Brom's 2015-16. Here's a look back at the campaign under Tony Pulis.

Where will West Brom finish next season?

Season in a sentence

West Brom's season has been everything you'd expect of a Pulis side -- dull football, a strong defence and safety with games to spare.

There was little in the way of excitement or memorable moments, which makes picking a highlight difficult.

It would probably have to be the 1-0 win over Manchester United at the Hawthorns, a result that took the club...

Premier League season in a sentence as Leicester crowned champions

ESPN FC's Steve Nicol reflects on the Premier League season.

It was another memorable Premier League campaign. Our ESPN FC bloggers take a quick look at how their team fared in the 2015-16 season.

LEICESTER: Leicester ended 2015-16 with a fairytale Premier League title, the PFA player of the year, a Premier League scoring record and Champions League football -- so not bad, then! -- Ben Jacobs

ARSENAL: Not good enough to sustain a title challenge but not bad enough to drop out of the top four -- stop me if you think you've heard this one before. --

Salomon Rondon needs support if West Brom want to develop

Salomon Rondon struck in West Brom's final day draw against Liverpool.

West Brom's 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the Hawthorns in their final game of this campaign encapsulated their whole season.

It was a performance that for large spells saw Liverpool dominate possession, with West Brom struggling to retain it for any decent period of time when they won the ball back. They were resolute and well-organised at the back, but lacked any pace or invention going forward.

There were a few moments where Tony Pulis' side showed what they could potentially be with a few additions...

Swansea to beat Man City, United to edge Bournemouth? Spurs to draw?

What a Premier League season 2015-16 has been. Champions Leicester will get a guard of honour at Stamford Bridge, but the game means little in the general context of everything given Chelsea have put in the worst title defence in living memory.

In fact, with Aston Villa, Newcastle and Norwich all already relegated, there is just the European spots to play for. Manchester United need to beat Bournemouth and hope that Man City lose if they are to make the Champions League playoffs, while West Ham,...

Premier League also-rans looking to Leicester for inspiration

ESPN FC's Steve Nicol says Leicester have set the perfect example this season.

Leicester have ripped up what we have come to expect in the Premier League, so who could follow in their footsteps next season?

The Foxes were all-but set for the Championship last season -- they were bottom of the table until April. 18 last term -- but are now celebrating their first league title in their 132-year history.

Their stunning surge gives hope to the rest of the Premier League outside the established elite. Here, a selection of our ESPN FC bloggers make a case for why they could be next...

Salomon Rondon goal not enough for Baggies at Bournemouth

Salomon Rondon struck but it wasn't enough to earn a win at Bournemouth on Saturday.

West Brom's final away game of the season saw them earn a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, in what was one of their better performances on the road.

While it could hardly be described as playing with freedom and flair, they were the dominant side in the first half and restricted Bournemouth to very few opportunities. That their equaliser came from a set piece, a long throw-in no less, will be a source of great frustration for Tony Pulis.

Despite some improvement going forward, it was still abundantly...
