Tottenham's Mousa Dembele vows team will only 'get stronger'

The ESPN FC panel weigh in on whether or not Mauricio Pochettino would leave Tottenham for PSG.

Mousa Dembele has predicted a bright future for Tottenham Hotspur and says Mauricio Pochettino's team can "only do better" next season.

Spurs have scored the most goals and conceded the fewest in the Premier League this season, despite having the youngest squad.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli banned for final three matches of season

The ESPN FC crew discuss Dele Alli's charges of violent conduct in his match against West Brom and this affects Tottenham.
The ESPN FC panel weigh in on whether or not Mauricio Pochettino would leave Tottenham for PSG.

Dele Alli has been banned for the final three games of Tottenham's season after he accepted an FA charge of violent conduct.

Midfielder Alli was charged with violent conduct after punching West Bromwich Albion's Claudio Yacob in the stomach.

He did not contest the charge but argued a three-game ban would be "clearly excessive."

That argument was rejected, meaning he now sits out the visits to Chelsea and Newcastle and the club's final home game of the season, against Southampton.

Dele Alli ban for violent conduct a setback for Tottenham and Harry Kane

The ESPN FC crew discuss how Dele Alli's ban for violent conduct will affect Tottenham.

Dele Alli's three-match ban for violent conduct is a sad end to an extraordinary debut season in the Premier League for the Professional Footballers' Association Young Player of the Year.

But this is not unexpected, for Alli is a fire and ice footballer; cool in the box but prone to hot-headedness. He has been booked 11 times this season and committed 50 fouls in the league -- only Erik Lamela has more for Tottenham, with 57 -- although this is a consequence of Spurs' high-press tactics.

More significantly,...
