Real Salt Lake part ways with Jaime, sign defender Obayan

SALT LAKE CITY -- Sebastian Jaime has mutually parted ways with Real Salt Lake, the team announced on Thursday.

The Argentine forward played 33 matches, including 25 starts, after signing with Real Salt Lake in 2014. He scored six goals and had two assists in two seasons.

Jaime likely would have had a backup role after the signing of Yura Movsisyan. He has now signed with Universidad Catolica in Chile.

The organization also announced that Sunday Stephen Obayan has signed to play for the team.

Real Salt Lake bring back Yura Movsisyan on loan

Yura Movsisyan joins RSL on loan from Spartak Moscow.

Armenia international Yura Movsisyan has returned for a second stint with Real Salt Lake.

The MLS club sealed the striker on loan from Spartak Moscow for the 2016 season. The Salt Lake Tribune reported the two sides will try to make the move permanent.

Movsisyan, 28, helped RSL win their only MLS Cup in 2009.

The Chicago Fire selected Jack Harrison from Wake Forest as the No. 1 overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft.

BALTIMORE -- Trades were the order of the day at the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.

The Chicago Fire selected Wake Forest midfielder Jack Harrison with the first pick of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, only to trade him to New York City FC for general allocation money and the No. 4 overall pick.
