Burnley boss Sean Dyche is sweating on the fitness of Dean Marney ahead of the potentially promotion-winning clash with QPR on Monday.

Marney limped out of last Friday's crucial win at Preston with what was believed to be a tight hamstring and the extent of his injury is still being assessed.

Dyche will hope to keep changes to a minimum as his side aim to complete an instant return to the Premier League if results elsewhere goes their way.

West Brom loanee Sandro weighs up options for future

Sandro's agent says the player, left, is enjoying his time at West Brom.

Sandro would welcome the chance to seal a permanent deal with West Brom but is prepared to keep his options open.

The on-loan QPR midfielder is waiting to hear from the club over whether they will keep him.

Albion have an option to make the deal permanent after they signed the Brazil international on loan from Rangers until the end of the season in January.

His agent Luiz Paulo Chignall told Press Association Sport: "I don't know Sandro's future in this moment because we need to wait for West Brom...

Deniss Rakels' equaliser earned a point for Reading as they drew 1-1 with QPR at Loftus Road.

Grant Hall's first goal for Rangers put them ahead 10 minutes before half time, but Rakels struck just six minutes later.

Former Tottenham defender Hall, outstanding for Rangers this season, met Alejandro Faurlin's left-wing corner with a looping header that Oliver Norwood was unable to prevent dropping in at the far post.

But the Royals hit back when Andrew Taylor crossed from the left and Yann Kermogant's...

Figures published by the Football Association show United paid £3.35m more than Liverpool -- the club with the second highest outlay in the division.

Brighton kept the pressure on Sky Bet Championship leaders Middlesbrough and second-placed Burnley with a convincing 4-0 victory over QPR before a crowd of 25,411 at the Amex Stadium.

The in-form Seagulls followed Friday's 5-0 thrashing of Fulham to move level on points with Burnley with their sixth win in seven games.

French winger Anthony Knockaert put Albion on their way with the opening goal and also hit the fourth in the 85th minute in a dominant individual display.

The former Leicester winger...
