Marseille accept Crystal Palace's €38m Michy Batshuayi bid - reports

Michy Batshuayi will decide if he wants to play to Crystal Palace, reports say.

Marseille have accepted a €38 million bid from Crystal Palace for Michy Batshuayi, according to reports.

Palace are hoping to lure the 22-year-old to the Premier League, but L'Equipe reported there is as yet no agreement with the Belgium international, who scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over Hungary.

Batshauyi's agent confirmed the bid to the Guardian, which also noted there would be performance bonuses as well as sell-on fees if the striker agrees to move to London.

Marseille sign full-backs Henri Bedimo and Hiroki Sakai

Right-back Hiroki Sakai comes to Marseille from Hannover.

Marseille have signed full-backs Henri Bedimo and Hiroki Sakai, the club announced on Thursday.

A 32-year-old left-back, Bedimo had played for seven other Frenchs clubs, including Lens, Montpellier and Lyon, where he played last season.

Sakai, a 26-year-old right-back, began his career at Kashiwa Reysol before moving to Hannover in 2012. The Japan international has played 27 times for his country thus far.

Monaco sign left-back Benjamin Mendy from Marseille

Benjamin Mendy spent three years with Marseille.

France under-21 international Benjamin Mendy has joined Monaco from Ligue 1 rivals Marseille.

Mendy, who started his career at Le Havre, has signed a five-year deal at Stade Louis II.

The 21-year-old left-back told his new club's website: "I am very proud to get involved with AS Monaco. It's a new challenge for me. I hope to progress and turn a corner with this great club."

l'Olympique Marseille's Stade Velodrome will be Saif Eddine Khaoui's new home.

Marseille are poised to make their first signing of the summer after Ligue 2 Tours announced a deal had been reached for the transfer of young midfielder Saif Eddine Khaoui.

"An agreement has been reached this weekend between Tours and Olympique de Marseille for the transfer of the young player Saif Eddine Khaoui," Tours said on their website.

Steven Fletcher did not expect to return to Sunderland after completing a loan to Marseille.

Sunderland have confirmed the departure of striker Steven Fletcher after leaving him off their official retained list for next season's Premier League campaign.

The 29-year-old will exit alongside Wes Brown, Danny Graham and Steve Harper, none of whom will be offered extensions to their contracts which expire this summer.

Fletcher joined the Black Cats in a £12 million move from Wolves in 2012 and scored 23 goals in 108 appearances for the club.
