Lille kept alive their chances of qualifying for a Champions League place with a 1-0 win at Lorient - their fifth successive victory on the road.

Following a largely uneventful first half, Lille improved from the restart and twice went close in a matter of minutes but Eder saw a seemingly goalbound effort superbly kept out by Benjamin Lecomte before the Lorient goalkeeper denied Morgan Amalfitano with an acrobatic effort.

Despite the hosts' keeper's efforts, though, Lille opened the scoring on 56 minutes...

St Etienne left it late as Nolan Roux's brace helped keep alive Les Verts' hopes of European qualification with a 2-0 win against Lorient.

Roux's first - his fourth goal in five games - was almost kept out by the diving Benjamin Lecomte after Romain Hamouma had picked out the in-form hitman in the 76th minute.

The former Lille striker netted his second of the game in added time, slotting beyond Lecomte after Raphael Gueirrero missed his defensive header to let Roux in.

Paris Saint-Germain must get past UCL defeat - Thiago Silva

ESPN FC's Julien Laurens discusses Laurent Blanc's personnel choices in PSG's 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
Manchester City hit home two vital away goals in a hotly contested 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva believes his side underperformed in their Coupe de France semifinal against Lorient because they were still thinking about their Champions League elimination.

PSG were beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinals last week but they recovered to hammer Caen 6-0 in a league game last weekend.

The cup holders then managed to get past a spirited Lorient side on Tuesday after a superb 75th-minute strike from Zlatan Ibrahimovic...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and PSG will play in the Coupe de France final for the second straight year.

Paris Saint-Germain kept alive their hopes of a domestic Treble after beating Lorient 1-0 to reach the Coupe de France final.

A solitary Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal -- his 11th strike in seven games -- decided the semifinal and ensured the Ligue 1 champions will play in their 14th Coupe de France final next month.

Lorient began well and Maxime Barthelme had a couple of decent shooting opportunities, but a first-time effort from 18 yards flew over Salvatore Sirigu's goal before a second attempt from...

Lorient's Raphael Guerreiro rejected Paris Saint-Germain last year

Raphael Guerreiro may consider leaving Lorient this summer.

Lorient left-back Raphael Guerreiro has revealed that he shunned interest from Paris Saint-Germain last summer but could now be ready to leave for a bigger club.

Guerreiro, 22, will try to help Lorient reach the Coupe de France final by beating defending champions PSG on Tuesday night.

The Portugal international, who has recently been linked with both Liverpool and Arsenal, said the French league winners expressed an interest in signing him last year.

"There was contact between presidents and with...
