Paulo Dybala is not heir to Carlos Tevez at Juventus - Franco Vazquez

Massimiliano Allegri says he is proud that Juventus progressed from their group with a game to spare.

Palermo midfielder Franco Vazquez is looking forward to being reunited with former teammate Paulo Dybala when Juventus visit the Stadio Renzo Barbera this weekend.

The pair netted 23 goals between them for Palermo last season before Dybala signed for Juve in the summer.

Argentine forward Dybala was earmarked to fill the role vacated by Carlos Tevez, who moved to Boca Juniors -- but Vazquez is not convinced he is the right man for that task.

At home, in front of their own fans, many were not quite sure what to expect from this Bianconeri side. They may be collecting Serie A wins but their performances have been far from convincing. To make matters worse, when they are deemed favourites for the win, they...

Massimiliano Allegri 'very happy' with Juventus performance

Juventus booked their spot in the Champions League round of 16 courtesy of Mario Mandzukic's goal at home against Man City.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri was pleased with his side's performance in the Bianconeri's 1-0 Champions League defeat of Manchester City on Wednesday.

A first-half Mario Mandzukic goal ensured qualification for the hosts, who are looking to return to the tournament's final after losing out to Barcelona last season.

The victory was the second for his young side over the Premier League heavyweights this campaign, and Allegri believes, while there's still room for improvement, The Old Lady...
