Goran Pandev jumped at chance to sign for Genoa from Galatasaray

Goran Pandev made three Champions League appearances last season.

Genoa forward Goran Pandev said he did not listen to any other offer after the Ligurian club made contact with him this summer.

The former Lazio, Inter Milan and Napoli attacker is now back in Serie A after spending last season with Galatasaray.

He only made a handful of appearances for the Turkish club and was keen for a chance to return to Italy.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has revealed how he and AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani had a bust-up over Andrea Bertolacci this summer.

Bertolacci spent last season with Genoa, who retained half of his transfer rights. They sold that share to Roma last month for €8.5 million before Milan, just a few days later, signed the player from the Giallorossi for a fee of €20m.

Iago Falque scored 13 Serie A goals last season.

Roma have signed Spanish midfielder Iago Falque on a season-long loan deal from Genoa, the Serie A club have announced.

A permanent transfer will be triggered as soon as he makes a competitive appearance for the Giallorossi, and completed next summer for a fee of €7 million. The former Spurs player has already agreed a contract to 2020.

Roma's Radja Nainggolan has been the subject of many transfer rumours, but is he worth the money?

Andrea Bertolacci has completed his return to Roma after the Giallorossi reached an agreement with Genoa to buy out their half of his registration.

Roma announced the transfer with a statement on their official website saying they had "signed an agreement with Genoa to resolve mutually and in favour of Roma the shared agreement they had for Andrea Bertolacci for a net fee of €8.5 million."

Gian Piero Gasperini signs extension as Genoa manager

Gian Piero Gasperini will stay as Genoa coach for the years to come.

Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini has signed an extension to his contract with the club through to 2017, the Serie A outfit have announced.

The 57-year-old began a second spell with Genoa in September 2013 and has been rewarded for a successful campaign with the Grifoni, which saw them finish sixth in the standings.
