See whether you agree with Shaka's picks this week.

Borussia Monchengladbach could cut Bayern Munich's lead at the top of the Bundesliga to a single point if they beat them at home in Germany's match of the weekend on Sunday.

The Foals completed a perfect week for German clubs in Europe when they demolished Apollon Limassol 5-0 in the Europa League at Borussia Park on Thursday, rounding off a set of European games in which Bundesliga clubs won all six.

Borussia Monchengladbach recorded their first win in the Europa League group stages this season with a thumping 5-0 victory over Apollon Limassol.

The German side had drawn both of their first two matches 1-1 but a brace from Ibrahima Traore and one each from Branimir Hrgota, Patrick Hermann and an own goal from Angelis Angeli ensured there was nothing close about this result.

Romanian coach Ioan Andone had only taken charge of Apollon seven days before the match but it was quickly uncomfortable viewing.

Fabian Johnson, Julian Green return to Bundesliga club training

ESPN Soccer Insider Adrian Melville updates on Julian Green's current loan spell with Hamburger SV.

U.S. internationals Fabian Johnson and Julian Green have returned to club training ahead of the new round of Bundesliga football until the international break in mid-November.

Green, 19, was sent home to train with his club Hamburger SV by USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann during the recent run of friendlies. The midfielder trained with the Americans early last week, but Klinsmann opted to allow him to return to Germany to recover from an injury sustained in HSV team training.

Borussia Monchengladbach celebrate Max Kruse's opener.

Borussia Monchengladbach and Mainz both preserved their unbeaten records in the Bundesliga this season as they recorded a 1-1 draw at the Borussia Park Stadion.

Max Kruse gave the hosts the lead, but Jonas Hofmann's penalty ensured Kasper Hjumand's side have only been beaten in Europe and in the DFB-Pokal this season.

Gladbach have now gone 12 games without defeat, but will feel they dropped two points and, as a result, the chance to move up to second on Sunday evening.
