Game Details

Struggling Bastia made it five games undefeated in Ligue 1 as they battled to a goalless draw against Bordeaux.

The hosts had to play the final 28 minutes with 10 men after Yannick Cahuzac was sent off for his second booking but they held on to secure a vital point.

Bastia are now three points clear of the drop zone while Bordeaux slip further back in their campaign for a European spot.

Nantes defeat Lyon in Coupe de France, US Quevilly shock Bastia

The efforts of Alexandre Lacazette were not enough as Lyon slumped to a 3-2 defeat to Nantes.

Ligue 1 leaders Lyon were dumped out of the Coupe de France in the last 32 after a 3-2 defeat to Nantes.

Vincent Bessat scored a hat trick for Les Canaris, including an 89th-minute winner. The prolific Alexandre Lacazette had given Lyon an early lead but Bessat scored twice in three minutes and then had the final say after Nabil Fekir had equalised.

Fourth-tier US Quevilly, shock finalists in 2012 and semifinalists two years earlier, were at it again as they beat top-flight Bastia 3-1 on penalties.

Toulouse check Bastia's rise

Game Details

Upwardly-mobile Bastia were denied a third win in four Ligue 1 matches after conceding a late equaliser at fellow relegation battlers Toulouse.

Toulouse, having lost eight of their previous 11 league games, refused to give up, though, and Martin Braithwaite's equaliser...

Djibril Cisse signed for Bastia from Kuban Krasnodar in 2014.

Djibril Cisse has told RMC this is likely to be his last season in football as the former Liverpool striker battles with a debilitating hip injury.

Cisse, 33, has played just 20 league games for Ligue 1 outfit Bastia since joining the Corsican club a year ago as he struggles to maintain his fitness.

The ex-Lazio and Panathinaikos man has set his sights on achieving a century of Ligue 1 goals, a mark from which he is four goals shy, but admitted if he does not get them this season, he will likely...

Coupe de la Ligue: Zlatan Ibrahimovic hits PSG's winner

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the only goal in PSG's cup win over St Etienne on Tuesday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's second-half strike saw Paris Saint-Germain restore some authority over St Etienne as they advanced to the semifinals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 1-0 away win.

St Etienne, who had been unbeaten in domestic action since Oct. 5, moved above PSG into third place in Ligue 1 with their win over Reims on Saturday, but were made to bow to the champions on their home turf on Tuesday night.

In an even first half, Ibrahimovic had two efforts saved by Saint-Etienne goalkeeper Stephane...
