Roma's Kevin Strootman: I would never join Juventus like Miralem Pjanic

Kevin Strootman's current Roma contract runs out in June of 2018.

Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman has promised he would never leave the club to sign for Serie A champions Juventus, like former teammate Miralem Pjanic did earlier this summer.

Pjanic signed with the five-time defending league champs for €32 million after exercising a clause in his Roma contract which enabled him to leave the club for a pre-agreed fee.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, the 26-year-old Strootman said a similar move to Turin was out of the question.

"I would never join Juventus...
