True Chelsea fans were at Wembley, not in racist incidents - Jose Mourinho

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was delighted to beat Tottenham 2-0 in the League Cup final.

Jose Mourinho reasserted Chelsea's anti-racism stance following reports of more incidents involving the club's fans but said that displays of support like at the Capital One Cup final show what they really represent.

Following the incident on the Paris Metro, British Transport Police were on Sunday called to meet a train at Stoke-on-Trent to eject reportedly abusive fans going from Manchester to London. Passengers claimed they were Chelsea supporters. The club confirmed that any season-ticket holders...

Cahill backs recent performances, calls competition with Zouma 'healthy'

Chelsea's Gary Cahill insists that his side's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday, was a deserved one.

Chelsea and England defender Gary Cahill has robustly defended his ability following scrutiny of his performances.

The 29-year-old centre-back enjoyed a strong start to the season, but a couple of unconvincing displays -- including in a 5-3 loss at Tottenham on New Year's Day -- saw his grip on a starting place with the Blues loosen.

Chelsea's captain scored his team's first goal of their 2-0 defeat of Tottenham, winning the man-of-the-match award.

"I loved it, I loved playing here in a big final and on a personal level, it was nice to get my first goal in a major final," he said. "More importantly, it was important to get our first trophy together....

The ESPN FC panel highlight Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho's defensive tactics as being the key elements to his side's victory over Tottenham in the Capital One Cup final.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was delighted to beat Tottenham 2-0 in the League Cup final.

Does it have to be this easy? Did someone not related to the FA disciplinary committee decree that Chelsea's road to English soccer supremacy needed to be one extended two-month lap of honor?

How else to explain why Man City and Tottenham chose the same day to offer Bill Gates-levels of charity toward Chelsea? These were acts of altruism on such a grand scale that you half-expected City and Spurs to offer to pay for Jose Mourinho's cleaning bill after the Delirious One celebrated his team's good...

ESPN FC's Craig Burley recaps Chelsea's dominant performance against Tottenham on their way to claiming the Capital One Cup trophy.

Basking in the warm reflective glow of a Wembley victory is always a pleasant feeling for Chelsea supporters, especially given the fact that vanquished London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, represented the Blues' opposition in the Capital One Cup Final.

The build up to Sunday's showdown that Chelsea won 2-0 had been frenetic. The questions had been asked: Could the Stamford Bridge outfit cope with hot-shot Hotspur striker Harry Kane? How would they fare without suspended midfield destroyer Nemanja...
