THINGS TO BANK ON
1.
We won't really know much about the Car of Tomorrow after the race. Cars are always tightly bunched at Bristol.
2.
We will find out how breakable the front-end splitter and the wing on the tail are. Expect plenty of broken pieces.
3.
Phantom debris cautions won't be needed. Running away with a race at Bristol is among the toughest things to do.
4.
There won't be a surprise winner. Expect the powerhouse teams like Roush Fenway Racing, Hendrick Motorsports and Richard Childress Racing to do well here.
5.
Get used to hearing Dodge Avenger and Chevrolet Impala SS. Those are the model cars being run by the respective manufacturers in the COT races. Ford will stick with the Fusion, Toyota the Camry.   Blount's Blitz: Can we get us a speedo? | Ask Terry |
