2012 recap: Busch posted career lows with one top-5 and only five top-10s, failing to win a race for the first time since his rookie season of 2001. But Busch drove most of the season for the underfunded team of Phoenix Racing. He raced 29 events in the No. 51 Chevy before closing out the year with six races in the No. 78 Chevy for Furniture Row Racing, which Busch will drive for in 2013. Busch was suspended for one race in 2013 after making a threatening comment toward a reporter.
