A Classic Vibe
There's something special in the air in Shreveport, and it's not just the aroma of jambalaya. The city has a definite Bassmaster Classic vibe about it. Rick Clunn is here. So are Kevin VanDam and Ray Scott. That means that something important is about to happen in the world of bass fishing.

Thursday was media day here in Shreveport, and it was like a lot of other media days in some respects but unique in others. It was the same in that the usual outdoor writers, videographers and photographers were on hand, along with some local reporters who have never seen a Classic before and a few newbies from faraway places.
