Actually, it's been Friday in Athens since Thursday, if you know what I mean.
Hours and time zones ahead of the United States to start with, Athenians always celebrate the weekend before Americans. We begin thinking about our weekend plans Tuesday morning and start winding down Thursday afternoon.
