DUCKS END A COUPLE OF KINGS' STREAKS
The Ducks took a 4-2 decision over the Kings, ending the franchise-record nine-game winning streak of their big-city cousins, and also ending the Kings' streak of five successive victories over the Ducks. That was the Kings' longest winning streak in the history of the local rivalry. Anaheim posted two streaks at least that long against Los Angeles: seven games in 2006 and six spanning 1998 and 1999.
