Overall: Sanders redshirted in 2001 and he started 11 of the 14 games he played in during the 2002 season. He started 10 of the 14 games he played in during the 2003 season, recording 93 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. Sanders started 11 of the games he played in during the 2004 season, recording 63 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two sacks. He also finished the season with three interceptions and five passes broken up. In addition, Sanders has blocked a kick in each of the last two seasons. Sanders needs to be protected in coverage because of his below average top-end speed and he also lacks prototypical bulk.
