Overall: Hill played mostly on special teams and as a reserve from 2001-'02 before moving inside as a junior and taking over as a fulltime 13-game starter at MLB. As a junior in 2003, Hill led the Tigers with 145 total tackles and also had an astounding 27 TFL and eight sacks on the season. He led the Tigers in tackles again as a senior in 2004 and also added another 17.5 TFL and 8.5 sacks, despite getting much less protection from his defensive line. Hill does not have good size or ideal strength, and he likely will need to make a position change from MLB to WLB in the NFL. However, he is still an underrated prospect that is worth taking a chance on early in the second day of the 2005 draft.
