Overall: Washington started 11-of-13 games as a true freshman in 2002 and all 13 games as a sophomore in 2003. He started all 11 games as a junior in 2004 and finished with 41 total tackles, three interceptions and a team-high 15 PBU. Washington finished his three-year career at Nebraska with 11 interceptions and 38 passes broken up. Washington decided to leave school a year early and ran the fastest time at the 2005 scouting combine with a 4.29 in the 40-yard dash. Washington lacks ideal size, isn't much of a factor in run support and won't match up well versus bigger receivers in the NFL. However, Washington is the fastest prospect in this year's draft class and he also is a smooth athlete with very good instincts and intelligence.
