Overall: McCoy saw limited time as a reserve in his true freshman season in 2001 before breaking out with 30 catches for 640 yards and eight touchdowns as a 13-game starter in 2002. He had 36 receptions for 521 yards and six TD's as a junior in 2003 and 36 receptions for 701 yards and 10 TD's as a senior in 2004. McCoy had good production in college considering the run-heavy offensive scheme he played in. He also had an impressive showing at the combine, where he ran in the low-4.4's, had a 37" vertical jump and ran the short shuttle in 3.94. McCoy is unpolished, lacks toughness, has a questionable character and will have a big leap to make to the NFL.
