Overall: Perry was a three-year starter at UCLA and was a player that was on the rise prior to things falling apart due to academics in 2003. He had 35 receptions as a junior in 2002 and also averaged 25.1 yards on 25 kickoff returns but he missed the entire 2003 for academic reasons. He barely made it back as a senior in 2004 but despite a slow start to the season he did finish with a respectable 22 receptions for 375 yards and three TD's. Perry has very good size, shows some big play ability as a sideline route runner, and also was an extremely productive kickoff return specialist at the college level. However, while Perry does have some upside and versatility, he is unpolished and unproven as a receiver and his work ethic/mental capacity are concerns. Perry is worth taking a chance on in the last few rounds ... For complete overview, strengths and weaknesses, login above or become an Insider.
