Overall: Cucci played in all 11 games as a true freshman in 1999. He started six of 11 games in 2000 and finished with 16 receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns. He missed the entire 2001 season recovering from off-season shoulder surgery (on both shoulders). He came back healthy in 2002 and finished with 12 receptions for 173 yards and three touchdowns. After getting a medical redshirt year in 2003 due to a hamstring injury, Cucci bounced back healthy again and finished the 2004 season with 12 receptions for 155 yards with zero TD's. Cucci has reliable hands, is a sharp route runner and has developed into a solid all-around blocker who will finish once he has locked on. However, he will never be a vertical threat and durability is a huge concern, which is why he's nothing more than a late-round prospect
