Overall: Walden began his career at Oregon and was once a highly rated player coming out of high school. However, he had problems with his weight, never lived up to expectations, and wound up transferring to Montana in 2002. As a sophomore in 2002 he had five receptions for 48 yards. As a junior in 2003 he had 19 receptions for 284 yards. As a senior in 2004, Walden played in 13-of-15 games, missing two because of injury. He had 16 receptions for 154 yards and five TD's last year. Walden's production in 2004 was similar to that of 2003 and he didn't look much improved on film, either. Walden has a great frame and is a good athlete for his size. As a result, he's worth keeping an eye on as a senior.
