Overall: Curtis spent two years (2001-'02) at Fresno City Community College before transferring to Portland State in 2003. He played in all 11 games in a rotation at the TE position and finished with nine receptions for 79 yards. Curtis was the fulltime starter in 2004 and finished with seven receptions for 96 yards and one TD. Curtis does flash potential as a "sleeper" in this draft class because of his terrific size, long arms, natural athleticism and toughness as a blocker. However, he is extremely raw as a receiver, he needs to become more consistent as a blocker and he will have a big adjustment to make from DI-AA to the NFL, which is why he's nothing more than a late-round developmental prospect.
