Overall: Everett transferred to Miami from Kilgore Junior College prior to the 2003 season. He played in all 13 games and finished with nine receptions in 2003. He played in 11-of-12 games as a senior in 2004 and finished with 23 receptions for 310 yards with zero TD's. Everett missed the Peach Bowl (vs. Florida) because of a shoulder injury that required surgery on Jan. 5th. As of when this report was written (March 11, 2005), Everett still had yet to workout because of the injury. Everett has good speed and athletic ability. He also has the frame and tenacity to develop into an adequate blocker in the NFL. However, Everett's senior season was his first as a fulltime starter and, while he has made strides, he still is an unpolished and somewhat unproven prospect.
