Overall: Ross came to college as one of the most highly touted backs in his class out of high school. He got off to a terrific start when he became the youngest back in conference history to run for 100 or more yards in a game when he rushed for 124 yards against Indiana (he was 17 at the time) as a true freshman in 2001. Ross took a backseat to Maurice Clarett in 2002 but regained his starting job as a junior in 03 with Clarett suspended and wound up with 826 rushing yards on 193 carries that season. As a senior in 2004, Ross split carries and finished with 475 yards and four TD's on 117 carries. Ross is an experienced and consistent running back with a terrific work ethic. He has good size and is a tough runner that will drive his legs and work to finish ... For complete overview, strengths and weaknesses, login above or become an Insider. |
