Overall: In his first two seasons at Wisconsin, Davis rushed for 3,022 yards with 17 100-yard games. However, ankle injuries cost Davis five games as a junior in 2003, when he only finished with 714 yards on 116 carries. Davis missed three games because of an eye injury as a senior in 2004, but bounced back healthy and finished his senior season with 973 yards and 11 TD's on 201 carries. He also had 13 receptions for 96 yards. Davis is one of the more explosive backs in this class and he also has terrific overall running skills. He's quick, shifty, decisive, tough for his size and shows a second gear in the open field. The problem when projecting him as an NFL back, however, is that he lacks size, has durability and character concerns, and has much room to improve in the passing game.
