Overall: Reyes began his career as a backup running back as a true freshman in 2001 but has been a fulltime starter since, when healthy. He did not miss a game in 2001 or 2002. He missed one game because of injury in 2003. Reyes rushed for more than 1,100 yards in his sophomore and junior seasons (2002-'03) and he also was Syracuse's second-leading receiver as a junior in '03 with 38 receptions. As a senior in 2004, Reyes missed two games because of a shoulder injury and finished with 803 rushing yards and seven TD's on 148 carries and 113 receiving yards on 14 catches. Reyes' biggest drawbacks as an NFL prospect are his lack of size and recent durability issues. Otherwise, he is an intriguing early-Day 2 prospect with toughness, explosive speed and reliable hands.
