Overall: Fitzpatrick took over as a fulltime starter in his junior season in 2003 after splitting time as a sophomore and playing sparingly as a true freshman. He completed 60.1-percent of his passing attempts in '03 and threw twice as many touchdowns (16) as he did interceptions (8). He led Harvard to a 10-0 record as a senior in 2004, completing 57.2-percent of his attempts for 1,986 yards with 13 TD's and six INT's. He also rushed for 448 yards and five touchdowns. Fitzpatrick doesn't have great height, arm strength or speed, but he is at least adequate in all those areas. In our opinion, Fitzpatrick isn't likely to ever become a starting quarterback in the NFL but he has enough skill and the ideal intangibles to develop into a backup at the next level. There is so much to like about his competitiveness, decision making and will to win ... For complete overview, strengths and weaknesses, login above or become an Insider. |
