Overall: Rix started all 12 games as a freshman in 2001. He was benched for a period of time as a sophomore in 2002 and a junior in 2003. He also has missed time as a senior in 2004 because of injury and wound up losing his job to his replacement, Wyatt Sexton. As a senior in 2004, Rix played in only 8-of-12 games and wound up completing 51-percent of his attempts for 865 yards with three TD's compared to seven INT's. Rix showed tremendous upside early in his career but he has failed to reach his potential on the field, while also frustrating his coaches and teammates with his arrogant attitude and numerous minor off-the-field incidents.
