Overall: Hill redshirted in 2000 and saw limited action as the backup to Byron Leftwich (Jaguars) from 2002-2003 before taking over the starting job as a junior in 2003. He suffered a season ending knee injury eight games into the 2003 season but returned healthy as the fulltime starter as a senior in 2004 and completed 58.7-percent of his attempts for 2,387 yards with 18 TD's and 14 INT's. Hill has the physical tools to potentially become a solid backup in the NFL but he never took his game to the next level in college and he remains entirely too inconsistent. Furthermore, he stayed out of trouble off the field last year, but Hill has a history of run-ins with the law, including two arrests and a misdemeanor conviction prior to his junior season in 2003.
