Overall: Clinkscale redshirted in 2000 and saw action in all 12 games as a versatile reserve that played center and guard in 2001. Clinkscale started his final three seasons at Wisconsin (2002-'04) at the ROG position. He started 44 of the team's last 46 games, including all 25 games between 2003 and 2004 seasons. Clinkscale lacks massive size and he won't engulf many defenders. He has poor speed and is a better run blocker than pass protector. However, he does have decent quickness in the short area. He takes good angles and is fluid enough to get out on pulls and traps in the running game, as well as hold his own in the short-area in pass pro. Clinkscale's workouts weren't overly impressive and his lack of ideal NFL "measurables" will cost him greatly on draft weekend but he's a better football player than his size, strength and speed indicate ...
