Weaknesses: Insider Only

Overall: Buenning redshirted in 2000 before earning a starting job at guard for the Badgers as a redshirt freshman in 2001. He has been a tremendously durable four-year starter that started 49-of-51 career games, including the final 36-consecutive. Buenning has below average speed and he is not a great athlete. However, he has adequate height, is well-built and is a powerful guard with good technique and a street-fighter's mentality. Buenning has an outside chance to develop into a starter in the NFL for a team that employs a power-run blocking scheme, which is why he's worth drafting in the fourth-to-fifth round range. However, there's a good chance that he never develops into anything more than a reliable backup with limited versatility due to his poor athletic ability.
