Overall: Alexander contributed at defensive tackle from his true freshman season in 2001 on and took over as a fulltime starter since mid-way through his sophomore season in 2002. He finished his 2003 junior season with 33 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack. His production was about the same as a fulltime starter in his senior season in 2004, when he finished with 28 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. Alexander lacks ideal size, athletic ability and top-end speed. His NFL upside is limited by his poor "measurables" but there is a lot to be said for his intensity, work-ethic and approach. Alexander has good upper body strength, adequate quickness and a great motor.
