Overall: Rhodes red-shirted in 2000 and he appeared in six games in 2001. He provided good depth and contributed on special teams while appearing in thirteen games during the 2002 season. Rhodes started 13 games in 2003 finishing the season with 82 tackles, three tackles-for-loss and one sack. He also forced a fumble and recorded three interceptions that year. Rhodes started all 12 games in 2004, finishing the season with 57 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, no sacks, two forced fumbles and six interceptions. Rhodes has the physical tools to take a chance on in the early stages of Day 2. He isn't physical enough, he needs to improve his overall strength, and he needs to develop his tackling skills. However, Rhodes has an impressive combination of size, speed and athleticism, and the light seemed to come on a little bit as he developed into more of a playmaker as a senior ...
