Overall: Wilson redshirted in 2000 and he played in six games in 2001. He started 11 games in 2002 and seven of the 11 games he played in during the 2003 season. As a fulltime starter during his senior season in 2004, Wilson finished with 54 tackles, one interception and five passes broken up. Wilson possesses an outstanding combination of size, speed and agility but he is a developmental prospect that is a far better athlete than football player at this point. Consequently, Wilson is worth taking a chance on in the late-second or early-third round but any earlier would be a reach and too risky for such an unproved and unpolished prospect.
