Overall: Williams redshirted in 2000. He played in all 11 games of the 2001 season and all 13 game of the 2002 season. Williams started all 13 games of the 2003 season and finished with 139 tackles, four interceptions and 12 passes broken up. As a senior in 2004, Williams finished with 56 tackles, five interceptions and 14 passes broken up. Williams' upside is limited by his lack of ideal bulk, strength and speed, but he has developed into a technically sound, physical and aggressive man-to-man cover corner with an adequate combination of height and athletic ability. Williams will never be a fulltime starter in the NFL but if he can improve his bulk and strength, he has the instincts and confidence to make an impact as a sub-package contributor at the next level.
